When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with
their tedious diatribes about how hard things were
when they were growing up; what with walking
twenty-five miles to school every morning ... uphill
BOTH ways .. yadda, yadda, yadda

And I remember promising myself
 that when I grew up, there was no way in hell I was going
to lay a bunch of crap like that on kids about how
hard I had it and how easy they've got it!

But now that... I'm over the ripe old age of thirty, I can't help but look around and
notice the youth of today. You've got it so easy!
I mean, compared to my childhood, you live in a damn Utopia!
And I hate to say it but you kids today you don't know
how good you've got it!

I mean, when I was a kid we didn't have The Internet.
If we wanted to know something, we had to go to the
damn library and look it up ourselves, in the card
catalog!!

There was no email! ! We had to actually write somebody
a letter ... with a pen! Then you had to walk all the
way across the street and put it in the mailbox and it
would take like a week to get there!

There were no MP3's or Napsters! You wanted to steal music, you had to
hitchhike to the damn record store and shoplift it yourself!

Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the
DJ would usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up!

We didn't have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you were on the phone
and somebody else called they got a busy signal, that's it!

And we didn't have fancy Caller ID Boxes either! When the phone rang,
you had no idea who it was! It could be your school, your mom,
your boss, your bookie, your drug dealer, a collections agent, you just
didn't know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister!

We didn't have any fancy Sony Playstation video games
with high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600!
With games like "SpaceInvaders" and "asteroids"
and the graphics were horrible! Your guy was a little square!
You actually had to use your imagination! And there were
no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen forever!
And you could never win. The game just kept getting
harder and harder and faster and faster until you
died! Just like LIFE!

When you went to the movie theater there no such thing
as stadium seating! All the seats were the same
height! If a tall guy or some old broad with a hat
sat in front of you and you couldn't see, you were
just screwed!

Sure, we had cable television, but back then that was
only like 15 channels and there was no onscreen menu
and no remote control! You had to use a little book
called a TV Guide to find out what was on!

You were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You
had to get off your ass and walk over to the TV to
change the channel and there was no Cartoon Network
either! You could only get cartoons on Saturday
Morning. Do you hear what I'm saying!?! We had to
wait ALL WEEK for cartoons, you spoiled little
bastards!

And we didn't have microwaves, if we wanted to heat
something up, we had to use the stove or go build a
fire ... imagine that! If we wanted popcorn, we had to use
that stupid JiffyPop thing and shake it over the stove
forever like an idiot.

That's exactly what I'm talking about! You kids
today have got it too easy. You're spoiled.

You guys wouldn't have lasted five minutes back in
1980!

Ah fandom, I love you. You know, I've been caught up in so many fandoms, I've been neglecting to read Naruto fnfiction! Shocker! Actually, as I have recently gone into the Yu Yu Hakusho fandom and have an OTP of HieiXKurama, I felt the need to post a funny little thing on YouTube that made me laugh my ass off, especially the first part with Jr. (Koenma) :3 *Snort* I just love the look on his face, also, I like Yuusuke's face when he's says "domestic partnership". Besides, I really wanna see this movie!!

*Sigh* The first real one? As in not Pokemon? Fushigi Yuugi. I like the Genbu Kaiden now, but I got bored of the original one. My friend still makes me by the manga though, blech.

11 or 12....

Um, 3 or 2....

Anime was $20 and mang was $10....

I watched Pokemon on my own, but my older sister got my into anime. I got into manga by Ranma 1/2, but Fushigi Yuugi was my first anime. (She got me hooked by showing me pictures of anime boys...)

The only beggining I really care for at all is Go!! I skip most of them...

Um, no. Not really. I like some Japanese music, but I really do prefer American stuff. I've never seen a japanese band I liked.

The first Fushigi Yuugi (although some of the picture she made afterwards are really pretty!), Samari Champloo (Is that how it's spelled? Sorry Ali, but me dun like the anime at all. :/) and Evangalian or whatever the hell it's called. There are a ton of poorly drawn anime out there, so there's too many to say here.

Naruto I suppose.

Ugh, I have finally been relocated. Not that I'm all that happy that I am, but I'm kinda hoping it'll help my insomnia problem I've been having. Gods, my insomnia... It's gotten so bad lately and I don't know why. Where I used to go to sleep at 9 pm, I now go to sleep at 2 am! It's seriously not cool,and even though I get really tired, I just toss and turn all night. I hate it and I'm getting a bit pissed off about it. Maybe it'll turn out to be something good because maybe I'll be able to talk to my buddy Vasu-chan. She lives far away, so our time zones are pretty off, but since I am now in a place where I can use the internet at one in the fucking morning, I might be able to catch her.

I think my next post to thing might be really depressing too. I'm not quite sure whetehr of not it will be, but I'm think it might be. I've been thinking about posting something on here that depresses the fuck out of me. Well, we'll just have to see if I can come up with the words to explain myself....

:3 I'm happy today. why? Because things have been going pretty good for me for the last few days. *Grin* And I even found a new word! Ukelicious. Haha, I love that word, it's so awesome. I have a thing for ukes, so that word appeals to me. ^^;;

Yays, an dI'm finally on OK terms with and old friend of mine. I thought she hated my guts for he longest time, but the other day she worked up the courage (you go girl!) to apologize to me. I'll admit that at first I was wary and unsure why she really wanted to talk to me, but I think I trust her enugh now to know she's not lying about being sorry. I must say though, I was very suprised when she told me, becuase as said before, I was sure she hated me.

I know, I normally don't trust people so easy, especially once they've hurt me, but I figure that since we'll probably never meet again nor ever talk offline, then it's ok to make amends and trust her. Besides, before we started fighting everyother day, she was a good friend. ^^

Also, it's kinda fun seeing how people took things. I mean, it's not exactly like I was the best friend in the world to her and my other friend at the time - actually, very far from it - so it's nice to see how they took everything. I still haven't talked to the other friend I had way back when (she's probably still mad at me...), but I suppose that if she doesn't want to talk to me then I'll respect that and leave her be. I am kinda sad about that though, I mean, I was her friend for a lot longer than I was with the one I'm currently talking to, so I really wanted to say I was sorry for betraying her like how I did. I'm too chicken shit to actually talk to her myself. ^^;;

Still, I won't take what I have for granted. I'm just gald I'm finally able to make everything ok between me and my old friend. I don't like being hated, especially by someone who was once a precious person to me, so when I found out that I'm not hated anymore, it made me really happy. It's funny how the world works isn't it? 

And I'm so obsessed with Kaoru right now. Kaoru = ukelicious LOVE!!!!!! I'd totally rape him. :3 I think I love Kaoru so much because I've been (and kinda still am) in that same boat with him, plus he's so damn CUTE!!!!!!!!! i know, I know, "Hiakru looks exactly the same!" but their personalities are so different and Kaoru's so mature and hurt it kicks y maturnal (and not-so maturnal) instincts into gear! I just wanna hug him and tell him everything'll be ok. It's kinda like my thing with baby Gaara, Sasuke, and Naruto. They're just so cute and innocent that I just want to comfort them and make it all better. Not that I'd do a real great job at it (not much experience in the comfort department, sorry), but I still want to. ^^;;

I have found an amusing pass time! Looking at ANBU'd fics!! Lol, my god, they're so horrible, but the people ANBU'ing them are hallarious!

Ok, for all those who don't know what an ANBU'd fic is, it's a fic so horrendously written that a person takes and puts their comments the things written. It sounds strange, but it's absolutely wonderful. Beware though, if you choose to click on the link below, your eyes will BURN and your brain will MELT at the crappiness of these so-called fics. Seriously, they're horrible, and they killed my poor, poor virgin eyes. My mind has been utterly scarred by these, yet they're addicting, so I continue to read them. The commentary on them in hella funny and will have you busting a gut. One of my favorites is this one: Well well well... What have we here? and another is this: Gai... Tsunade.... and an M rating.

They're so crappy they're funny... The bold is the added comments, the normal text is what was origanally there. What's sad is tht these fics actually got encouragment! Anyway, the other one's to this series of fanflash have the Aktasuki people (and Gaara) in there alot and Hidan even shows up!! Hehe, Kisame (and Itachi) is the person of the Akatsuki who shows up the most though. ^^ KISAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahem, anyway, I have found something new to invest my money and thoughts in! I'm going to try and find a way to buy Body Buddy 1 and 2 because from the pictures I've seen, it's totally love and I absolutely NEED them! If only I were older! Grrrr, curse my lack of age!! Tch, and what sucks even more is that I've only been able to find them on ebay! Which I have no idea if I'll be able to buy it from there without a credit card. -_- I REALLY want them though so I guess I'll have to think up some brilliant plan and prove all the people who think I'm smart right! Hahaha! Errr, right. I'll just end this here because once again my brother is bitching at me to get off so he can play WoW. I swear he's going to end up like Itachi *snickers at inside joke* and start jacking off to ItachisGirl22 on there. gah, just what I need, MORE mental scars!!
